A veteran Wall Street banker, he has held key roles as a financial advisor, investment banker, and portfolio fund manager, driving strategic investments in domestic and international markets. With a career spanning hedge funds, private family offices, and multi-billion-dollar asset management, John’s leadership and measured decision-making are instrumental in positioning Now Base Metals as a leading force in strategic mineral investment and development.

Brian Bouwer is the Co-Founder of Now Base Metals and a serial entrepreneur with extensive experience in metal trading, mining, exploration, and mineral processing across Southern Africa. As the CEO of Now Import & Export Zambia, he has led major projects in strategic mineral acquisition, logistics, compliance, and international trade. With a deep understanding of the African mining sector, Brian plays a key role in driving operations, project development, and investment growth for Now Base Metals. 

Ms. Joy Mabani serves as the Company Secretary of Now Base Metals, bringing extensive experience in corporate governance, project management, and administration. With a strong background in structuring and overseeing mining and investment projects, she ensures regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, and strategic coordination within the company. Her expertise in stakeholder management and corporate administration plays a vital role in supporting Now Base Metals’ growth and organizational integrity.

Frank Smith, a seasoned attorney with over 30 years of experience, is the driving force behind Phantom International LLC and Phantom Rescue, Inc. Starting his career in New York’s landlord/tenant courts, he expanded into commercial litigation and business law, handling both transactions and disputes. As general counsel for various multinational entities, Frank has expertise in corporate governance, compliance, finance, real estate, energy, and entertainment law. A dedicated advocate against child trafficking, Frank plays a key role in Phantom Rescue, ensuring operational integrity and compliance. His diverse legal career includes advising high-profile clients in professional sports, media, aviation, and cryptocurrency.
